She Launched It is our series profiling female entrepreneurs. Connecting and uplifting the voices of women is our number one priority at It’s All Better Together. If you know a female entrepreneur that I should profile, please send them here and I will be in touch soon!
Up first, Tiffany Sondergaard. I could have talked for hours upon hours with this gregarious expert! When Tiffany launched into her story about the founding of her company, ts PR & Event Planning, I was immediately captivated by her passion. I am so excited to tell you her story!

Tiffany, fresh out of college, found her dream job in New York City running public relations for brands you’d recognize like Bath & Body Words and Reebok. She had the office, the wardrobe, the dream.
Then she fell in love.
And love led to babies.
Three of them.
And New York? No longer really the dream.
She moved her family to Pennsylvania to find more stability. Time for that suburbia life with a tad more space that NYC.
She took a comfortable job in product marketing but that didn’t fulfill her. Her true passion lied in event planning and public relations management.
That led her to another comfortable job clocking in at a local country club to manage their clients’ events. Weddings, birthday parties, and bat mitzvahs. There she discovered that passion for helping clients fulfill their perfect vision. She found connecting with her clients, building relationships with them and truly understanding how she could wow them – was the secret sauce.
After a few years, her youngest child is now 4 years old. Her itch came back to round out that work to include public relations.
Then, her grandmother passed away and family called.
It was time to quit that country club job. Time to travel to help family. Time to think and dream and brainstorm. At this point, Tiffany was ready for a life shift. She needed something different, she just wasn’t sure what that was!
2018 and a big dose of courage, it was time to change it all.
As she was taking care of her family and dreaming about what the future might hold, her former clients at the country club started calling, “Tiffany, you left! I can’t do this without you! Can you put me on retainer and still handle my event at the club?”
Not just one.
Not two.
THREE FORMER CLIENTS called her!
And She Launched It!
So, ts Event Planning was founded. Her passion of making dreams come true morphed into a real life business to support her family.
She replaced her full time income within 6 months.
That leap of faith. That trust. That time of listening to her heart, changed her life.
Ts PR & Event Planning makes clients dreams come true. This platform allows Tiffany to fulfill visions of events (now virtual ones) and do comprehensive public relations for her customers. She slays this role, in case you are wondering. She’s currently represents a plethora of clients including musical acts like Yurby Music an not-for profit organizations like, Gray Strong Foundation.
Her event experience spans fashion shows, trick-or-treat events, conferences, and more!

When asked what led to such rapid success, Tiffany attributes it all to people. She maintained strong relationships with all of her former co-workers and clients. Sending baby gifts and cards even though she may have not spoken to them in years. She’d see former clients in a spot on the news and pop them a note, “You looked great! Your PR consultant is killing it!”
People, relationships & trust built the business that changed Tiffany’s life.
Her children now pitch in for the non-profit events. They love having their mom have ownership of her schedule and even brag about her to their teachers. (What every mom dreams of?!)
Tiffany’s Advice to Aspiring Entrepreneurs:
Never burn a bridge. Even if you bow out of an opportunity, bow out with grace. Maintain your relationships.
And ladies, Tiffany says GO FOR THAT DREAM! She too is in awe of how quickly she was able to find stability and lead the life she always dreamed of. Her business changed not just her life, but also her childrens life. And, oh what a blessing.
