I’m going to share some specific instances of how I have closed deals fast. How I found those deals and where I found them!
Now, this will NOT be a traditional sales webinar that teases an offer or course the whole way through. I am going to straight up teach you.
Then I will share a way you can access a little more of me if you would like to.
My mission here is education not pitching.

Who am i? Am I worth you listening to today?
I’m Sarah Tucker. I live in Omaha Nebraska with my husband, 5 children, and 1 grandbaby(she is the light of my life).
I do have my MBA.
I’m a corporate girl with 20 years in sales leadership. Don’t ask me how 20 years as I feel like I am only 20. So, ya know however that works!
I lead sales teams for a living. My job is P&L (profit and loss) responsibility. So at the end of the day, my job is to ensure both of my offices are profitable. To do that, each sales team member needs to meet or exceed their revenue goals and quotas. I teach account managers to exceed their revenue goals each month. We are making money moves here. I love it. I love my job. I love being able to teach sales. Like this is what I was put on earth to do.
This is my jam, y’all!
So, during Covid…I realized I’m way too much of an Extrovert. I value people. Humans. Connection. And that is what led to Sales Cheerleader LLC. Officially purchased at the end of January 2021. Thus far – $5,250 in revenue! Not too shabby for a side hustle in 3 weeks.
This exceeded all goals I had initially laid out when I first launched my business and now I am so excited to keep this momentum going.
The impact! Ah, that’s my favorite!!!
Sales is a science.
When you observe, track and study your process you can replicate it. There is no need to guess or wing it! What relief, right!
So what’s the formula?
Clarity + Community + Consistency = Customers
How does that work?
It only works if first, you understand your ideal customer.
In fact, this is the most important first step is identifying exactly who your ideal buyers are.
And this must be crystal clear.
For example, I have two types of ideal customers:
Sophie & Lily
Sophie is a passionate entrepreneur. She has been in business a couple of years and is ready to invest in super charging her revenue.
Lily is a corporate momma with a plan. She’s ready to jump out of corporate on her own, but realizes her hobby or passion isn’t quite enough to build a business alone. She needs a sales expert to guide her through the scariest parts of starting a business.
- I dive deep into understanding their pain points.
- What they like.
- What they don’t like.
- I create content for them.
- I look to find them.
- I listen to them.
- Inspire them.
- Cheerlead them.
- Educate them.
- So that I can work with them.
- Total immersion.
Do you know your ideal buyers? Are you focused 100% on them?
Have you perfected the art of your pitch?
Can you share in 7 words or less what it is that you do?
For me, I help women build wealth.
You want people to respond with “how do you do that?”
- Less words.
Sophie & Lily already know that I will post daily.
That my content is educationally focused.
That I bring high energy into the space.
That I know what the heck I am talking about.
That I am friendly and fun.
What is your next client’s current perception of you?
Building relationships is a key to success.
Give more than you want to get back.
Comment on your ideal customers posts.
Share their content.
Engage with them.
Actually get to know them.
Now, you are ready to enact my formula for winning deals on Clubhouse, Instagram & Facebook.
You are clear. You are consistent. You are focused on community.
Now, where do you need to be?
Guess what? I don’t care where you want it to be. IT’S NOT ABOUT YOU.
You don’t like Facebook but your ideal customer does? Get on Facebook.
You feel overwhelmed learning a new platform but your ideal customers are on Clubhouse. Ummmmm? You go where they go.
I am going to walk you through each platform and share some examples.
Audio based social app
- Currently, there are 2 million weekly active users
- Investment interest is currently at 1B
- Daily usage time is high – people are getting on and staying on this app.
My ICA – Sophie & Lily are hanging out in business rooms. Speed networking rooms. They are seeking to learn about:
- Social Media growth
- Lead generation
- Public Relations Strategies
All with an end goal of learning new ways to grow their business. They are inspired by success stories, learning, and high energy.
Earlier this week, I was in a networking room. Shared my elevator pitch, got several DMs that turned into 15 minute discovery calls.

One of those has already turned into a paying client. Simple. Quick. Easy – because I am where my ideal customers are.
If you are a life coach, you likely won’t find your ICA in the same rooms I am in.
You will can be more focused and find rooms like:
- Sister Chat: Struggling & OVerwhelmed? Leave Failure Behind!
- The Core Show: Health & Wellness Q&A
You need to be location specific. For now, I don’t see a ton of Omaha rooms yet – but there is a Startup Nebraska group.
Other cities are already booming! Check to see what clubs have been formed around your location.
Narrow down your niche and share that story!!
Ultimately, you must go where your target customers go or you are wasting your time!
- 1.2 unique visitors active in October 2020 = 1.2 billion
- 500 million accounts view Instagram stories daily
- Predominantly 25-24 years old
- Women outnumber men in the 35 and up age group
- 43% of women in US, 31% of men in US use Instagram
- Top interests on Instagram are: Travel, Music and Food & Drink
Use hashtags & geotags to help boost your reach.
Hashtags – think about what your customers are searching for when it comes to your services and products. For me, #smallbusinesssupport has been a hashtag that is performing well for me.
My biggest deal came from me sharing my offer in an Instagram story.
An acquaintance I know in real life reached out. “Will you coach guys too or just women?” he asked.
He is now a 1:1 client and we are doing big deep work building out a Strategic Sales Plan, Setting up a predictable and repeatable sales process for his furniture business.
Facebook Pages & Groups
- In the US, the majority of Facebook users are women. (Globally, there are more male users)
- Women are 40% more likely to create groups that become meaningful to people.
- Women also create nearly 70% of all fundraisers on Facebook.
Ideal for women buyers. Again, seek out the spaces your perfect customers are. Where they are searching for answers.
I determined that my niche had a gap on Facebook groups. So, I created my own group. You should join it if you haven’t already! I have made several sales in this group by sharing my beta offers. Discounted pricing so that I can add value but in return, get social proof. The testimonials. The evidence that I am worth a price hike from the beta price.
- 722 million members, 57% who are men.
- During the pandemic, LinkedIn saw a 55% increase in conversations among connections
- 57% access the social media app via their mobile device
Linked In Groups, Connections & Feed are all great tools and features to be using on LinkedIn if your buyer is more B2B (Business to Business).
Moral of the story – Be where your customers are.
Remember the sales formula: Clarity + Community + Consistency = Customers
Be clear on both your messaging & who your ideal clients are.
Build authentic relationships.
Be predictably consistent.
